Samuel Kirt Lillywhite

I decided that I should probably write something about our little baby boy which I am carrying. I don't know if it is just because this is my second pregnancy or if it is just because it has been a very easy pregnancy, but Kirt and I have not done anything to prepare for the baby. I know that the next 3 months are going to go by fast and the baby will come and we won't even have a name for him. We have talked about names a few times but never very seriously. In the back of my mind I have a list of things I want to do before the baby comes, like clean out the kitchen cabinets or the cupboard under the bathroom sink. I also want to make a quilt for Hailey's new bed, scrapbook more, potty train Hailey etc. etc. I am not moving very quickly because June 27th seems like a long ways away.

I am excited though. I feel him constantly!! He moves around much more than Hailey did. I am trying to brace myself because I really think that he is going to give me a run for my money. He seems to not want me to rest. Every time I sit down or take a break he starts moving.

Feed the Ducks

Last Wednesday, the weather was perfect so Hailey and I decided to call our friends and go to the park. Hailey really got into feeding the ducks. I was suprised because last summer she didn't get into it much. I gave Hailey half of a hamburger bun and told her to feed the ducks while I was trying to give my friends some buns for their kids to feed the ducks. Hailey threw the entire half of the bun at the ducks. The ducks all seemed to be looking at her and thinking, "what are we supposed to do with that?" Once I showed her that we needed to break off pieces to give to them she wanted to do it all herself. She kept throwing the bread softer and softer trying to get the ducks to come closer. There was one duck that I thought might even eat the bread right from her hand they were coming so close.

We also played on the swings which is probably Hailey's favorite thing to do. I have never seen her get tired of swinging. She does want to change swings occasionally so she gets the chance to swing in every swing. We didn't mind spending time there though, because it just felt so good to get out after such a cold winter.
